Refund Policy
Effective September 24, 2026
We want every student to feel confident about what they are paying for, and that includes knowing exactly where you stand if the course is not right for you. This page states our refund terms plainly, with a policy for every course, seminar, and app product we offer.
Our Standard Refund Terms
These terms apply to every paid WINGsReality EDU course unless a section below states otherwise:
- 14-day window. Tuition is refundable within 14 days of your enrollment date, subject to a $19.95 cancellation fee.
- Digital materials are non-refundable. Books and materials supplied by WINGsReality EDU are in digital format and are not refundable for any reason.
- Processing time. Please allow up to 30 days for refunds to be processed.
- How to request a refund. Contact Support through the link in your course or on any page of this website. A real person will handle your request — no forms, no run-around.
- What happens after a refund. Your enrollment is closed, course access ends immediately, and any endorsements issued through the course are revoked. Refunded tuition is returned by the same method you paid with.
Students who violate our General Use Policies are not eligible for refunds of any monies paid, as stated in those policies.
Ground Schools
Our instructor-led ground schools — Private Pilot Ground School, Instrument Pilot Ground School, Commercial Pilot Ground School, Multiengine Pilot Ground School, and Flight Instructor Ground School — follow the standard terms above.
Each ground school also has its own Terms, Conditions and Policies that you read and acknowledge before starting coursework. Those course terms remain fully in effect and cover course-specific items such as completion deadlines and extension fees. Nothing on this page overrides the terms you agreed to in your course.
Flight Review Ground School
The Flight Review Ground School is a self-paced course with a 60-day enrollment window. Because the course is self-paced, refund eligibility is based on course progress rather than days on the calendar: tuition is refundable, subject to the cancellation fee, through your completion of Module One only. Once you begin Module Two, the course is no longer refundable. The FRGS Course Introduction is not counted as course instruction for this policy — the module numbers are what govern refund eligibility. And once your flight review endorsement has been issued, the course is complete and is not refundable.
Seminars
Our FAASTeam safety seminars follow a simpler policy, since they are low-cost, single-sitting products:
- A seminar purchase is fully refundable within 14 days of purchase, with no cancellation fee, provided the seminar has not been completed.
- Once your attendance is recorded — your completion certificate is issued or FAA WINGS credit has been submitted on your behalf — the seminar is complete and is not refundable.
- Refunds are processed within the standard 30 days.
Building Science and Energy Courses
Building science and energy education courses, including Building Science Fundamentals and Weatherization Technician courses, follow the standard terms above.
Free Courses
Free courses, such as How to Become a Pilot, involve no tuition. There is nothing to refund — you may unenroll at any time from your dashboard.
WINGsOne App
Purchases within the WINGsOne app — including Test Prep and Study Companion content — follow the standard terms above: refundable within 14 days of purchase, subject to the cancellation fee, with digital content non-refundable once downloaded. Terms specific to each app product are displayed in the app before you purchase.
A Note on Fairness
These terms exist to keep the doors open and the courses running — not to trap anyone. If something on our end prevented you from using what you paid for, tell us. We would rather make it right than keep money we did not earn.
